I'm Baaaaaa-aaaack!

It has been a fabulous week! I got to go to Bus Convention AND see most of my family--at the same time! My sister-in-law Leora and I shared a room a few miles from the Bus Convention. Liz and Darrell stayed there along with Darrells parent's and Sherilyn and Kenny were there, too. Since Leo and I had no transportation of our own, the Stetler's were gracious enough to share their family time with us. We ate together and had so much fun laughing and visiting.

Leo and I stayed up and talked waaaaay to late. Rylan was a trooper through all our giggles and through hours and hours of church/workshops. The convention was a real shot in the arm for me. I came back re-newed and with fresh ideas and dreams for our children's ministry.

Aunt Becky, Crystal and I rode back to Troy together. We discussed some ideas and made some plans. For several weeks we have had a group of teens come to Kids' Club on Tuesday night. We love having them come but Kids' Club is geared for younger kids so they get bored and start to cause problems. Well, we feel like it's time to start a teen class. It will spread our help pretty thin but we can do it with God's help. This will mainly be my project to put together. Pray for us as we work on this. It's a huge responsibility.

My grandparents were still at our house when I got home. Friday morning I found out Grandpa had been having chest pain off and on for a couple days. He talked to his doctor in Oklahoma and was told to go to the emergency room. Grandpa didn't want to do that, he wanted to go to his doctor in Tulsa. So we rushed around and made arrangements for people to drive them to Tulsa (an Interstate relay of sorts). (Disclaimer: I do not advise traveling between states with someone who is having chest pain...however, Grandpa is not easily convinced to change his mind.)

Anyway, Albert met them in Lebanon and drove Grandpa straight to the emergency room at the heart hospital in Tulsa. They admitted him and plan to do a cardiac cath on Monday. I worried about them being on the road but I am also glad he is back with his doctor and closer to most of his family.

As you have probably noticed, I am horrible about not taking pictures. I like to live in the moment and totally soak it up. I would rather not wrestle with a camera while I am acting goofy with my nieces and nephews. Maybe Leo will let me steal some of her pictures....hint, hint!

Well, I had better go. We are headed to St Louis for a saltwater meeting.

Yay! I found your blog! I clicked on your name before when you commented on mine but - no blog, just a profile came up. When Angie added you to her list, I tried again and it worked like a charm. =)
