Sad

My heart is heavy. I hesitate to share it because I hate to sound depressing but here it is. I am working in the hospital today and not a lot is happening in my unit. However, a tragic car accident happened just down the road and three children died. Another child and the driver are in critical condition at other hospitals. The three children were brought here and the families are coming in. They are using my unit's waiting room. The accident is being covered in the news every little bit. It is overwhelmingly sad. My pastor, Carrell Day, is the chaplain on duty this week and he has been here, too.

The nurses and the doctor in the ER next door are quiet and their eyes are red. Pray for this family and for all involved. And hug those you love just a little tighter tonight.

I'm so sorry. I understand; my heart bleds when we find out through the sheriff department and/or scanner about something tragic. It's so hard when it's children. But we know that they are now in Jesus' arms! What a blessed thought!
