Update, announcement, prayer requests

What a crazy, crazy week it has been. Campmeeting, company, working, coordinating the teen services for camp, and getting ready for vacation. I have to have all my paperwork done at work before I leave Wednesday afternoon. I am sleep deprived and no hope of an extra hour until I get to Mom's house...ahhhhh, Mom and Dad's...relaxing for a little bit...like and hour or two before...

...it's time to prepare for Arthur and Jessica's wedding. Mom, Liz, Leo and I will take care of serving the food at the reception. Last I knew, Jessica was expecting around 300-400 people! AND she is serving a buffet style meal. It will be a lot of fun. I have my silver platters ready to travel to Oklahoma!

I was cruising around the countryside today seeing my patients when I passed a 30 mph sign going 52...I know because the officer kindly told me...looks like overtime is in my future to pay for my ticket. I was slowing down, really I was...It happened in a little town that's only about two blocks long....grrrrrrr.....

When the officer came to give me my ticket, my phone rang. I called back after I had given the officer my autograph. It was Bob saying that he had turned in his two weeks notice. He had been thinking about it for a while but a series of events today confirmed that that was the best option. So...he will be spending vacation looking for a job. He has turned in his resume for jobs in KS, MO, and OK. He has an interview on Thursday morning for one of his top choices. If he would get that job, we would be packing up and moving to OK. We have talked of doing that for a long time...who knows....I'm holding on for the ride!!!

Please help us pray about Bob's job situation and for wisdom to know what to do.
Pray about the situation I mentioned a few weeks ago--June 14th is an important date for that situation.
Pray for the teens in my Tuesday night teen class. I especially need wisdom to know how to handle some delicate issues. We have some great teens who have so much potential. I certainly don't want to "offend one of these little ones."

Okay, I know your prayer list was already full but thanks for just breathing up a single prayer right now. Thanks so much. Hugs to each of you.

We'll be praying, of course. And I was thrilled to hear of that ticket--misery loves company, I guess!
