Here are some books from my reading list. I love books and tend to accumulate too many of them. I like just about anything except fiction--I'm weird, I know. I like true stuff. I don't even care for analogies like Chronicles of Narnia and Lord of the Rings. (I never said there was anything wrong with them, they just aren't my style.)
By the way, if anyone has "Big Girls Don't Whine" or "Body Clutter" and you want to loan or sell let me know!

Given to me by my dear friend, Martha S., this book, "A Place of Quiet Rest" by Nancy Leigh DeMoss is one of my favorites. It is challenging and encouraging .

I just finished reading this fun Mark Twain book. I love his way with words and the little twist he gives expressions. You can read his work several times and still find things you missed.

I just started reading this book for a second or third time--working on developing healthier habits. Great book about the basics of being healthy.

This book is full of good-to-know stuff about finding your place in life. It's common sense and Christian. Lot of great advice.

This one is still on my wish list. My sister recommended it to me. It is by the Flylady and Leanne Ely. Another resource on my quest for a healthier me.

Also on my wishlist, this is a book recommended by my friends and fellow bloggers Angie and Carrie. This is more for spiritual fitness. It has been a while since I have read a book in this vein. I'm looking forward to a soul-stretching workout.

Body Clutter is by THE Flylady! As well as Leanne Ely, who is known for "Saving Dinner." She has a book and website where you can buy three months of complete recipes and shopping lists - very cool - but not for me. Anyway, just wanted to correct that . .. .
BTW, how are YOU doing? I'd love to chat sometime - mom and dad will be here tomorrow evening - that will be fun.
Call me when you have a chance!
Love you!
Lizzy

Oh, I LOVE books!!! I am working on "Body Clutter" right now. I must recommend "Lies Women Believe" by Nancy Leigh DeMoss...VERRRY Good!!
Also, "God's Wisdom for a Woman's Life" by Elizabeth George I checked out of the library so many times I decided I needed to buy it :-)
I'm with you...I read voraciously but can't usually find fiction I like. I did come across Lois Lowry recently and loved her The Giver, Gathering Blue..I read them all.
You're welcomed to borrow my body clutter book, if no one has sent it already. Just send me your address.

We get rid of clothes before we part with books. We've got it bad.
