This is a pom-pom crab. He has little bitty anemones on his "arms" and shakes them ferociously in the face of his predators! of course, he's a little bitty guy that could sit on the end of your finger but his little pom-poms make him feel invincible! I'm fascinated by the different defense mechanisms in nature so this dude intrigued me. I think the fish store guy said Barney was not compatible with some other things in our tank. So, we don't have Barney Fife yet but maybe someday.
