These pictures are from greeting cards. The first one is one I wish I would have found in time to get for Bob for our Anniversary/Valentine's Day. It just strikes me funny for some reason. The second one is for "my main squeeze." Sometimes we do serious cards and sometimes funny. Obviously it's a funny year!

Today was our 10th anniversary! We celebrated by...having leftovers! We have two foster kids right now --8 mo and almost 2 years, both girls. We started to try to go out for supper but there were long lines every place so we decided to go out another time.

I had the privilege of taking the two kiddos to the doctor and getting shots for both of them. Joy, joy! I learned a lot today---like, there's a reason people lug those crazy car seats around--to have someplace to set a wiggly little one! Oh, and note to self: carry a diaper bag! Hello! Believe me it was a long two hour dr visit with no toys, bottle, diaper or pacifier! Some of us learn things best the hard way.

The girls are from the next county north of us and are here as an "emergency placement" for now. They are both pretty good kids. The 2 year old is learning to "use her words" instead of cry/fake cry to get what she wants and needs and is learning to use a spoon, apparently for the first time. The baby is content and calm most of the time...until the diaper starts to weigh as much as she does then she cries! They are both clingy and fussy tonight because of the shots at the doctor's office.

I'm impressed by my cousin Amanda's creativity for Valentine's Day--heart shaped brownies and heart shaped pizza! I swung by the butcher place and picked up some beef sticks Bob likes! I was actually quite pleased with the idea--he is so hard to buy for!
