I have embarked on a new adventure! I started piano lessons today with my friend Esther. It has been a dream of mine for many years to take lessons from her but it hasn't worked for various reasons. So, today my dream came true and I am so excited.
I took lessons from the age of 4-5 until college but it was not in the direction of church music. Those years of lessons gave me a good foundation to build on. I do have a lot of bad habits to unlearn but I know the end result will be worth it.
Now I have to get back in the groove of practice and written theory and those dreaded finger exercises dreamed up by a guy named Hanon!

Good for you! I would LOVE to play the piano. I took lessons as a kid...I took lessons in college.. and guess what? They didn't take! Kyra is starting them this year and is so excited. Hopefully she will take after her great grandmother and not me!
