Special Guests

One of my very favorite things is to visit with friends and family.  When we moved I wanted to be sure and find a house close to the interstate and with extra bedrooms.  I love to be able to have our loved ones stay with us.  We don't require much warning--if you don't mind a messy house sometimes!

Some of our best memories have been made when different ones have dropped by to stay all night while en route to somewhere else.  We pack a lot of visiting and fun into a few hours, sleep a little then get up to send them off again.

Last night was one of those times.  Liz and Darrell and family and Elizabeth, from their church, were on their way to Bus Convention in Indy.  They arrived last night around 7pm.  I had dinner ready and then we played with the kids and visited and had a great time together.

Gracie demonstrating her violin skills--she is diong quite well on her itty, bitty 1/16th violin!  Absolutely adorable.

Darrell Lee takes on Uncle Bob in a sword fight.  "Daddy Darrell" made these for his youth group out of PVC pipe and pool noodles.  Very fun.

The time went to fast, as usual, but we had a ball.  Next time YOU pass through, give us a call-- you can stay with us if you need or want to or if you just have a little bit, we can meet you for dinner or for ice cream.
