I don't know why the top two pictures insist on being sideways. They aren't like that on Picasa. Anyway, our first teen class was a success, in my opinion. We had 8 teens, 7 came to class. The 8th one helps with puppets in Kids' Club and wants to continue doing that...however, she is torn and wants to come to class, too. She is very mature for her age. We have encouraged her to come to class at least part of the time.

We sang praise and worship choruses--more grown up songs than "Jesus' Love Is a-Bubblin' Over!" I was worried about trying to sing with such a small group but they all sang and seemed to enjoy it.

There are three classes plus a week of revival before Easter so I decided to use the Resurrection Eggs from Family Life Today. We worked through the first three eggs--donkey, coins, and Passover cup, last night. I had planned to cover four but ran low on time.

We talked about outings/activities. A trip to the mall was hands-down the top choice--at least for the girls! Maybe the boys can go to Cabelo's or BassPro. Anyway, we are blessed with a huge mall that has ice skating, go carts, rock climbing, and glow in the dark putt putt. I'm sure the guys will have fun, too. A lock-in where we rent a gym and play games all night was the second favorite option. We are looking for a place suitable for that.

I asked the teens how many of them were Christians. They all raised their hands. That's wonderful. I want to help them develop a love for Jesus and to learn more about living for Him. It's a huge responsibility and I certainly need God to help us.

Well, I have noticed my post have been verrrrrrrrrry lengthy lately! At first I didn't know what to say, now I don't know when to shut up! Thanks for reading.
