Aquarium pix...still learning how to take them

Bob, who teases me about my blah-blah-blah-g...wanted me to be SURE and post pictures of his pride and joy, the aquarium, on MY blog!

Hmph........

Well, since I was going to anyway...

This is a close up of part of the sunburst coral. It was in full bloom last night. I wish I could capture all the gorgeous detail of it.

This is a red sponge. It looks like a cactus to me.

Remember the red and blue mushrooms Bob secured to a rock with a fishnet stocking? Here they are. Doubled in size.

These are hairy green mushrooms--yep, that's what they are called. There was a third one but it got to be huge so Bob cut it out and it is elsewhere in the tank.

Rose Bubble Tip Anenome with Clownfish (think Nemo)--the clown fish is at the 6 o'clock position. He is facing the camera--you can see a small white stripe and his face. He does not like the flashlight I have to use to get good lighting for pictures so it was hard to catch him.

The white crisscross lines in the center are the anenome's mouth. Bob feeds it little frozen fish called silver sides.

Want to know something crazy? Any houseplant or garden plant dies almost immediately upon entering our home. However, all things aquatic seem to thrive. Who knows...

Alright, alright. Enough blogging for now. My housework and taxes are calling my name so I had better get going.
