No big news here. I had a profitable week offline but it was good to catch up with all the news I had missed. My list of blogger buddies somehow got knocked off my blog so I have been scavenging all over to find all the links to check on my friends!
We are keeping busy, busy, busy with work, Kids Club and the various and sundry other activities that beg our attention.
We are having a cookout for the teens this Friday night. It is our first such activity and I am very nervous...and it is suppose to rain!!! Just my luck. Anyway, we are making plans A AND B--indoor and outdoor activities. I have to work Friday but will be off Thursday to make final preparations.
We had Kids' Club tonight and NOBODY got candy! They were wound up and it was difficult to teach anything! Crystal said the younger ones were the same way and they didn't get candy either! (They always get candy when they get off the bus. My class gets an extra piece from me as well occasionally. I had planned to give them some tonight but not after I had to peel them off the ceiling!)
I started our new lesson books. Tonight was on how to become a Christian. I divided them into pairs to look up scriptures. I was surprised (though I probably shouldn't have been) to realize that several of them had no idea about the format of the Bible (chapters, verses, etc). Somehow we will have to cover those issues as well.
I have pictures to download but I'm too tired tonight to go to the car to get the camera. I will try to post later.
