Not for the Faint of Heart...

...and only if you are serious about having a wonderful marriage!

I am currently reading "The Proper Care and Feeding of Marriage" by Dr Laura Schlessinger. I have already read "The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands" and found it to be a great resource. All this may sound like my marriage is on the rocks! Absolutely not. Bob and I have a great relationship. We are always looking for ways to make it better. The time, effort and energy spent working on your marriage is always a good investment.

If you read or have read either of these, I would like to know your thoughts on them. Dr Laura minces no words so be brave and read them if you dare!

I've not read the "marriage" one, but as you know, I LOVED (in the sense that I was glad to "hear it like it is") her perspective in "husbands." I want to read it again, but I'm afraid I (long-term) loaned mine to someone . . . Library is probably my solution.
Love ya!

P.S. Check my blog - I updated!

I have read the "husband" one and love it! Every wife should read! Actually, it should be read by all girls planning to get married. I wish I would have read it sooner.
Is the marriage one a lot different? I need to see if I can find that one.

To all--I'm glad you agree. I'm sick and tired of the male-bashing that's so common now. It's time for us to grow up and be women.

Jody J--I agree, it should be mandatory reading for every bride! The Marriage book is along the same lines as the Husbands one but could be read by eaither a man or a woman or together. It has been a while since I read Husbands so it has been a nice refresher for me.
