Let me see...This is hard.
1. I attended UBC for two years, 1993-1995. I made a lot of friends there who I have reconnected with through blogging...some blog, others lurk (ah-hem!!)--Hi Heidi!!!
2. I like red. There, I said it. When I asked Elise what I should put on my list of random facts, she said, "You like red." I must be turning into my Grandmother. She loves red and wears it every chance she gets. In fact, in our family, we say something is "Grandmother Red" if we are wanting to explain just how red something is. I want to paint one wall a deep warm red...I'm still trying to convince Bob.
3. I have a dream to scuba dive someday. I love the ocean and would love to take a professionally taught course. I would also like to swim with the dolphins.
4. My husband and I do not use credit cards--with one exception, our recent appliance purchases at 0%--will be paid off soon. We have dedicated the last two years to becoming debt free except for our house. We are hoping to be able to scream "We're Debt Freeeeeeeeee!" by the end of January. Our Money Makeover has been one of the best things we have ever done.
Check out http://www.daveramsey.com/ and search for Baby Steps to get started.
5. I am a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner--which means I have been trained to gather evidence after a rape/sexual assault. I think there are only 3 active SANE nurses in our county right now.
6. I had 1300+ minutes used and 481 calls made on my most recent US Cellular bill. That did not include calls made from my work cell phone!
7. I like Soduko and Kakuro and usually work at least one puzzle a day.
Okay, who can I tag...

Are YOU counted in as one of the sane nurses left in your county ?!!! :)
What a ministry...honestly.
I'll try to respond soon to the tag, but I'll have to think of seven things and my brain's tired!
Love ya
Vicki
I would love to talk about your job! I think it would be so difficult, yet take a special person and be fascinating all at the same time.
I love this tagging thing...sure enjoyed getting to know you better! BTW - have you received your books yet from me?
I worked for a lady in Mississipi who was a big-whig in sexual assault forensics. It was pretty intruiging....don't think it would be a good profession for me. You're a rare and wonderful breed.
Intriguing. Intreeging. Intriguging. How in the WORLD do you spell it? My dictionary is inside. Bummer.
I LOVE YOU SHAR!!!
I'm loving red more and more all the time too. It's now definitely at the top of my list with pink and blue! Can you believe it? :>)
Lizzy
Enjoyed reading the facts about you. I am also a red lover. It's been one of my favorites since I was a little girl. You'll love the red wall! I have a huge red chair in my living room. It's called a chair and a half. I love it.
Bless you for doing the job you are doing. We need more Christians doing things like that. I would say being a Christian would be the only way to stay sane!
Fact #8: Shar had a personal hairdresser during her days at UBC. Boy, that girl was underpaid...
Really enjoyed your facts. I hope you get to swim with dolphins someday (providing they are nice dolphins and don't turn on you with their sharp teeth). And that's a lot of cellular minutes! I stand in awe of your airtime.
