Anxiously Awaiting the Arrival...

...of my new computer! The one we have is ancient--and there were three of us wanting it at the same time...so...lucky me!!! That also means I haven't been taking time to download more pictures on this computer--thus, the lack of posts lately.

We are quite busy here. Boy and Girl B are "integrating" into their grandparents' home. The transition should be complete by Jan 2. This involves a lot of meetings and visits and therapy sessions...and behavior issues at home and at school. We are working through it all but it takes a lot of time and energy. Overall, it's going as smoothly as can be expected. If you would shuffle me around as much as these kids have had to be I would have behavior problems, too!

We are going to Kansas for a couple days after Christmas. I can't wait to spend some time with my family. God has blessed me with a great family who are also friends.

Bob and I are leaving to spend several days in San Diego and Mexico. We are excited about spending a few days with our special friends Steve and Sarah (look to the right for a link to Sarah's web page. Sarah and I have been close friends since high school. It is rare that we get to see each other any more so it will be a treat to spend a few days with her crew. Bob and Steve get along great so it's nice to hang out together.

Neither of us has spent much time in CA--so, what are the must-see's? We plan to spend at least one day at the zoo and we want to see the beachwalk. What else???

As you can tell, things are hopping here. I'll post more when I get my computer. It could arrive any day. I was home this morning and kept running to the window to see if it was the delivery truck!
